  • Rare & Notable Compilations
    • It's the Dubliners: 1969
      • It's the Dubliners: 1969 - Hallmark HM 615 LP
      • Included on this LP are all the tracks from the EP, More of the Dubliners — the first compilation on which they appear.
      • Also note worthy as a prominent website took its name from this LP …
    • The Patriot Game: 1971
      • The Patriot Game: 1971 - Hallmark SHM 738 LP
      • This compilation LP includes the previously unreleased (at the time) track: "I Wish (Till Apples Grow on an Ivy Tree)" — an alternate take, of "Love is Pleasing".
      • This version is probably from The Dubliners (with Luke Kelly) recording session.
      • This alternate take also appears as a "bonus" track on the same titled 2003 expanded CD release.
      • Also included on this LP are all the tracks from the EP, Mainly Barney — the first compilation on which they appear.
    • The Best of the Dubliners - Volume Two, etc.
      • The Best of the Dubliners - Volume Two: 1973 - Transatlantic/Metronome DALP 2/1942 [2 LPs]
      • The Dubliners On Tour: 1973 - Transatlantic/Metronme 200 112 (5N 038N-60677) LP
      • These (German release) compilations contain the previously unreleased "The Kerry Recruit" — with lead vocals by Ronnie Drew — not Bob Lynch.
      • To my knowledge, this track has only been released twice — on these compilations …
      • On certain releases the more well-known version, by Bob Lynch, is referred to as the "alternate take" — perhaps this is why.
    • The Dubliners - Anthology: 1978
      • The Dubliners - Anthology: 1978 - Transatlantic MTRA 2010 LP
      • This compilation includes the previously unreleased and inexplicably titled track: "Sea Shanty" — it is in fact "Roddy McCorley".
      • This is not the version from In Concert, with Bob Lynch.
      • The track is probably from the same session as the Dubliners' first Transatlantic LP, as it includes Luke Kelly, but not John Sheahan.
      • The track was subsequently released on various CDs — under the titles, "Sea Shanty" and "Roddy McCorley", just to make it more confusing.
    • The Complete Dubliners: 1997
      • The Complete Dubliners: 1997 - SMD CD 150 CD
      • Included on this compilation is the Dubliners original version of "Rare Old Mountain Dew" from the 1964 EP In Person … featuring Ronnie Drew.
      • This is first time (to my knowledge) this track is re-issued; and has appeared on a handful of compilations since.
    • Ageless Classics: 1998
      • Ageless Classics: 1998 - Recall SMD CD 160 CD
      • This compilation includes "Willie Gannon" from the 1964 EP In Person … featuring Ronnie Drew.
      • This is first time (to my knowledge) this track is re-issued; and has appeared on a handful of compilations since.

  • Notes:
    • Above is a sample of compilations of the Dubliners' Transatlantic albums — possibly incomplete.
